The WordPress Repository is a very popular place to go to find plugins and themes for WordPress. So, logically, it would also be a very good place to put them, right?

Well, the answer isn’t and straightforward as you might think. There are certainly advantages, most notably the likelihood of reaching a lot more customers. However, more customers means more support, which can take a lot of your time, and the reviews and feedback you’ll get are often less helpful than you’d hope.
